About Reiki Training

Reiki is accessible for Everyone. Anyone can learn how to become a Reiki healer. You don’t need to have any special gifts or capabilities, simply a desire to learn. Once you learn Reiki, it is a wonderful tool for self-healing and also to assist friends and family members. If you wish to continue on your own Reiki journey, you can become a Reiki Master to broaden your practice and teach others.

I became a Certified Usui Reiki Master through in-person training and attunement. Today there are many courses and healing modalities available online, but Reiki has traditionally been taught in person. The Reiki energy lineage is passed down from master to student through an in- person attunement. I believe in-person Reiki attunement is best, so I choose to honour this tradition in teaching Reiki to new students.

If you are interested is becoming a Reiki healer, I would recommend researching it for yourself. Book a Reiki session with a practitioner for yourself to understand how it feels. I am available to chat further if you are interested. The person who guides you on this next level of your healing journey will become your mentor until you feel confident and become a Reiki Master. So it is important that you trust and connect to your teacher.

Reiki Level I – Focus on Self-healing

Reiki Level I opens the door to a new pathway to wellness- self-empowerment and healing. Reiki Level I is for everyone. This full-day training experience will shift your awareness to the power of energy always surrounding us and also the power of energy within us and running through us. There are no pre-requisites, simply a desire and commitment to learn and honour this incredible healing modality. Students will receive a Reiki Level I attunement. Once we have discussed methodology and approach, students will have a chance to practice hands-on Reiki with class peers under the supervision of the Master Teacher. The course included a Usui Reiki Level I training binder and a certificate upon completion of the class. Reiki Level 1 training will be held in person at my studio in Thornbury, Ontario. Lunch will be provided.

Reiki Level II – Focus on Expanding Gifts to Others and Healing from a Distance

Reiki Level 2 is an opportunity to expand your healing gifts for yourself and others. This full-day intermediate level training will attune you to the energy of Reiki Level II as well as teach you the various applications and meaning of the Reiki symbols in order to provide progressive energy healing in-person and from a distance. Students will receive a Reiki Level II attunement. Once we have discussed methodology and approach, students will have a chance to practice hands-on Reiki with class peers under the supervision of the Master Teacher. The course included a Usui Reiki Level II training binder and a certificate upon completion of the class. Reiki Level II training will be held in person at my studio in Thornbury, Ontario. Lunch will be provided.
